Do I need an axe-throwing reservation?
Reservations are recommended, especially for weekends. Walk-ins are welcome when lanes are available. Use the live booking link for current availability and pricing.
Who can throw?
The current venue information lists public axe throwing for guests ages 12 and older. Private-event exceptions may be considered case by case.
What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are required for axe throwing. The venue provides the standard throwing equipment.
Can we just come for the arcade or food?
Yes. The arcade, restaurant, bar, pool and ping-pong make 540 Social a walk-in destination even when you are not reserving an axe lane.
Is it good for groups?
Yes. Small groups can reserve lanes directly, while larger events can combine private space, food, drinks, A/V and multiple activities. The Blacksburg event offering advertises capacity up to 400 depending on setup.
Is the venue accessible?
The Google profile lists a wheelchair-accessible entrance. Confirm any layout-specific needs directly with the venue before a visit or private event.
